Gateway Ironworks have extensive experience in the faithful restoration and indeed reproduction of all period ironwork including gates, railings and balconies and we have worked on numerous high profile period properties in the Dublin area.

Whilst every attempt is always made to save historic ironwork or to salvage wrought iron, sometimes it is not possible due to the level of decay.  In these instances we are able to reproduce the casts/components of the ironwork to such a high standard that you would find it difficult to differentiate between old and new.

As with all of ranges we can provide a suitable design utilizing CAD and perhaps even better then CAD utilizing the know-how and vast experience of our staff who have been working on ironwork for period properties for in excess of 30 years.  Our staff are best placed to advise you not only on what will be aesthetically pleasing but what will also be advisable with regard to local planning/period requirements.
